Blazer Jobs is seeking a School Social Worker to support students in a school-based setting located in Round Lake, IL. The ideal candidate will contribute to a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment by delivering essential services aligned with the needs of the district and its students. This position is for the 20252026 School Year.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized social work support and counseling to students to address academic, social, and emotional needs.

Monitor and document student progress, attendance, and behavior to inform interventions.

Collaborate with teachers, families, community agencies, and specialists to develop and implement student support plans.

Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and legal requirements.

Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture that fosters student success and well-being.
Requirements:

Active School Social Worker license or certification in the state of Illinois

Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) required

Prior school-based or pediatric social work experience preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
-
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and families

Bilingual skills and crisis intervention training are a plus
